Mama Victoria
1931 — 2025
Transitioned November 11, 2025
Mama Victoria lived a long life of faith, prayer, and devotion to her family. Across the years she was a steady, gentle presence — a woman whose warmth filled the room and whose kindness was felt by everyone she met. Her family remember her above all as a mother and a prayer warrior: someone who carried not only her own children before God, but the people around her as well.
Prayer was not simply something she did; it was part of who she was. When others saw obstacles, her family write, she saw reasons to pray. In uncertainty she turned to God; in pain she prayed; and in blessing she gave thanks. Even through serious illness, her faith did not waver — a quiet assurance that those who cared for her described as complete trust in the God she believed in.
She was the embodiment of motherhood. Her love was active and intentional: shown in words of encouragement, in prayer, and in unwavering faith. Those who knew her recall how rarely her concerns were centred on herself, even during her own health struggles, and how she had a remarkable way of putting others at ease — often asking how they were before speaking of herself.
On November 11, 2025, Mama Victoria transitioned from this life into eternity at the age of 94. Her family take comfort in the assurance of faith, and in the love she leaves behind — a legacy that, in the words of those who honoured her, will continue to ripple through generations.
These remembrances are drawn from the six complete tributes written by her family and those who cared for her. Read them in full on the Tributes page.
